ENERGA Elektrownie Ostrołęka SA is the largest producer of electric and thermal energy in north-eastern Poland. The company is comprised of Elektrociepłownia Ostrołęka A and Elektrownia Ostrołęka B. The company provides regulatory system services for the Public Power System.
It sells its customers electric energy cogenerated on the basis of bilateral agreements and on the balancing and competitive markets: on ENERGA Commodities Exchange and on the poee trade platform. It also sells property rights to electric energy from renewable sources and to thermal energy to industrial and communal customers in the region of Ostrołęka.
The company has shared in three share-holding companies:
Elektrownia Ostrołęka B
Elektrownia Ostrołęka B is the only base-load power plant in north-eastern Poland which enables safe operation of the Public Power System. The operation of its energy units is necessary for maintaining the level of voltages in the region.
The power plant is built from three power units with ratings of 221 MW, 200 MW and 226 MW. The total reachable power equals 647 MW which constitutes almost 2% of the electrical power engineering system capacity in the country. The produced electric energy is output at a voltage of 220 kV (unit no. 1 and unit no. 2) and 110 kV (unit no. 3).
Elektrociepłownia Ostrołęka A
Elektrociepłownia Ostrołęka A provides thermal energy to industrial and communal recipients from Ostrołęka.
It may produce a maximum of 456.1 MW of thermal power and 75 MW of electric power. The CHP plant has four turbine sets which work with five energy boilers.
Electric energy is cogenerated with thermal energy.

He graduated from the Białystok University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and finished the Postgraduate Managing Studies on the Warsaw School of Economics.
He worked for the company presently named Philips Lighting Poland S.A. He led the privatisation of the company and then its restructuring, change and building the competence.
He is highly experienced in company operations management and directly in production as well as in human resources, managing projects, including the processes of change, lean manufacturing, outsourced manufacturing, business excellence.
He graduated from the Gdańsk University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics, specialty: power plants and electro-energetic economy.
He has been working in the company since 1975 on managing positions connected with supervision while in the years 1988-1992 he held the position of Technical Director.
He is highly experienced in energetic as well as handling the energetic equipment. He directly participated in planning and budgeting of repair and investment works as well as directly supervised the preparation and execution of 200MW power units modernization, which increased the generating capacity and efficiency of the power units.
She graduated from the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences and finished the Postgraduate Studies at the Warsaw University of Technology in Polish Electro-Energetic in the European Union.
She has been working in the Ostrołęka power plant since 1990 on the positions connected with economic analysis and since 1998 as the Planning and Analysis Manager. Since June 2004 she worked also as the authorised clerk of the company.
She has a wide practical knowledge in the field of finance and managerial accounting, mainly concerning the effectiveness of products sale and fuel purchase, prognoses of economic situation of the company, price calculations, cost allocation, technical and economic planning, planning, executing and supervising the budget as well as fulfilling the duties resulting from the Energetic Law, i.e. licensing and tariffing processes. 45 years old, married, a son; hobby: literature.
The Supervisory Board by resolution no. 82/IV/2009 dated 8 June 2009 appointed him into the Board of Directors of ENERGA Elektrownie Ostrołęka SA as a representative chosen by the employees of the company and gave him the function of a Director.
He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics, specialty: power plants and electro-energetic economy and the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Management, specialty: human resources management, as well as Postgraduate studies regarding economics in electro-energetic at the Warsaw School of Economics and Silesian University of Technology. He has been working in the company since 1980 and since 1991 as the Duty Maintenance Engineer of the Heat and Power Plant. He has deep knowledge in respect to the functioning of the energy and resources sector and vast professional experience gained in the course of many years of work. In 2006 he was first appointed a Director chosen by the employees of the company.
For 12 years he was also working for the community as the chairman of the Continuous Process Employees Trade Union. Married, two children; hobby: travelling.
He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics (1981).
From the beginnings of his professional career he cooperated with Zespół Elektrowni Ostrołęka and later ENERGA Elektrownie Ostrołęka SA. He first worked as a trainee in the Electric Devices Repair Department, then as a technical clerk and a specialist in the Utilization Control and Environmental Protection Department. In the years 1986-1990 he was the Analysis and Technical Reporting Department Manager. Since June 1990 he worked as the Manager of the Utilization Control and Environmental Protection Department and in March 1993 he was promoted to the position of Department Manager – Main Utilization Control and Environmental Protection Engineer. In 2006 he simultaneously fulfilled the duties of the Manager the Fuel Purchase and Transport Department. Since 15.12.2009 he has been the Deputy Director for Logistics and the Environment. 54 years old, married, two sons and a daughter.
